Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We use ADP Workforce Now for payroll and benefits. We primarily use it in our Business Office, but all employees have access to their own accounts. It helps us manage payroll.
  • The payroll process is fairly simple.
  • I like the payroll preview and quick calc features.
  • Too many choices under "People" tab, could be consolidated
  • Inundated with messages and promo info
  • Positive--helps us pay employees in timely and accurate manner
  • Neutral/Negative--I'm sure it has many features and capabilities that we haven't embraced.
I think it has capabilities to do things and at levels that we don't even use yet. So far so good.
  • Benefits
  • ACA compliance
Me personally, none, perhaps others in my department have looked into this previously.

Do you think ADP Workforce Now delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with ADP Workforce Now's feature set?

Yes

Did ADP Workforce Now live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of ADP Workforce Now go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ADP Workforce Now again?

Yes

It would be nice if the customer service reps were more familiar with our particular business and needs.
ADP Workforce Now works well for payroll. While it offers many features, a few are kind of clunky. Tailoring it to your specific business and eliminating fields you don't need would be key. We haven't really taken the time to do this but I think the capability is there.

COVID-19 Response

We were able to successfully use some pay codes we already had set up in order to track COVID 19 hours- hours we paid employees for but they weren't working. There was lots of communication and help available from ADP for COVID, but we didn't need to use too much of it since we were never really fully shut down.
We didn't really need to take advantage of any of these resources, but it was nice to know they were available.
A co worker did use some of the resources provided by ADP, specifically a webinar with regards to the Employer portion of Social Security. There was a lot of information and assistance available if we need it, which was helpful and reassuring. It was also nice that since we didn't fully shut down, ADP was still there and delivering paychecks and service.
I do not know about the employees mobile usage, but I know that many of our employees successfully log on and take care of many HR and payroll needs. Our employees are starting to catch on to all of the different things they can adjust on their own, including their tax preferences and direct deposit changes.

Using ADP Workforce Now

5 - Mostly payroll and accounting and different levels. Only 2 of the employees use the benefits information. I assumed when answering this that we are talking about actual administrative use, not just people/users logging in to see their paystubs and change their information.
5 - Mainly 2 people provide the support and interact with ADP when there are any issues.
  • payroll
  • benefits enrollment
  • tracking and reporting
  • retirement deduction reporting
  • reporting
  • a tool to manage file storage, termination of employees
  • more reporting
  • self service for employees
  • a home base for all of our human resources information
We have no current plans to change, but one never knows what the future may hold.
