Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
We use WFN throughout the company. We currently use HR, Time & Attendance and Payroll. WFN coordinates across tasks and is very user-friendly for our retail staff. We are looking to upgrade to Recruiting and Onboarding to make hiring remote associates easier and protect the confidential information that would normally be processed on paper.
- Access to information through a single sign-on.
- User-friendly and limited training is needed for new hires.
- Past year reporting on some items is limited due to the annual reset of accumulators.
- In my opinion, some upgrades are not needed and the time could have been spent elsewhere - The appearance of the web-views for example. They were fine before.
- Pricing is good in my opinion and we receive discounts based on our tenure as an ADP client.
- Performance management.
- Compensation management.
Compensation management was a big fail. Performance Management seems to have to be re-written every year. I don't use it but I do interact with the EVP of HR and he has been very frustrated. Even small things like formatting errors when printing was ignored. We haven't had the time to finish the Onboarding module.
PayChex was 'clunky'. It was hard to find what your needed. The company switched to Paycom before I was hired and only stayed with them for about 3 months before coming back to ADP. I can't comment on what the issues were but I understand that they were quite serious.

COVID-19 Response
With the FFCRA coming online very fast, ADP responded in a timely and efficient manner. Reporting and function of the pay codes were seamless.
We were fortunate that we maintained our business at full capacity during the crisis and still are. Administrative employees are now working from home and the retail operations were only affected during the beginning of the virus as far as reduced coverage in our stores was concerned. We are owned by a larger company so PPP loans were not a factor for us.
I was helpful but as I stated, we were able to maintain our business without major modifications to communication and other areas of the business.
Yes, but that was always our process. We have many remote employees and using the app has always been a good tool for our workforce.
