Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
The payroll department currently uses ADP Workforce Now to run payroll & keep track of employee records including Time & Attendance, Personal info, W2s, and PTO tracking. It makes this department run smoothly by keeping all employee records in one place and being automated makes things more efficient. It frees up a lot of time for me so I can work on other projects for the PR/HR dept., as I'm the only one in my dept.
Pros
- Makes things simple to use. Not a long drawn-out process to complete a specific task.
- The layout of the site is very user-friendly/logical. Things are easy to find and you don't have to worry about clicking on the wrong thing and messing up your records or system.
Cons
- I do think they need to test new updates a little more thoroughly. It does get frustrating when you roll out a new update, that most times does improve the user experience but then it causes glitches in another part of the system. The glitch tends to overshadow the benefit of the new update.
- Call center employees could use a little more training or experience using the system themselves. There have been a number of times where I have called in with an issue and the representative will tell me to do something I know will not work or will interfere with another aspect of the system. It seems they are just trying to fix only what the current problem is. They don't seem to think or look ahead or follow the fix all the way through to the end. There have been some occasions where I have had to call back an additional 2-3 times to fix cascading issues from the original problem I had.
- ADP Workforce Now allows me the extra time to work on other office projects that need to be completed.
- PickRight
PickRight tracks the # of pieces our warehouse employees pick as they are paid based on the # of pieces picked. It used to be I had to enter the # of picks each week into the PR grid by hand. We are now able to download a report from the PickRight system, edit out the unneeded info and upload it to ADP, saving a huge amount of time and potential for keying errors.
