Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We use Workforce Now across the entire organization to process payroll and handle our benefits. We also use ADP as our 'homepage". We also use ADP to track PTO and process all PTO requests, and we use it to track FMLA and to run payroll and HR reports. We also track performance evaluations and trainings.
  • PTO tracking
  • Benefit Administration
  • Payroll processing
  • More integration with HSA accounts
  • More complex payroll function ability
  • An employee directory feature
  • It has made payroll more consistent
  • The data from reports is helpful
  • Employees can keep track of their PTO
Everyone uses it, but it's not the most easy to understand and user-friendly software. And ADP is constantly changing things, not always for the better. Once you figure out how to do something, ADP likes to "update" and change the way you have been doing it, so you have to learn the new way.
  • OrgChart Now
Not sure yet, as this is still ongoing. But really, we shouldn't have to use a 3rd party vendor to create an employee directory, when all the information (including photos) is already in ADP.
  • Oasis and a Paychex company
I think ADP is better and easier to use. Cost-wise, ADP is more expensive, and ADP's customer service is sketchy, but ADP has better functionality and reporting features. And ADP has better integration capabilities, such as 403B management. Since ADP is so large, it is easy to find things that work with it.

Do you think ADP Workforce Now delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with ADP Workforce Now's feature set?

Yes

Did ADP Workforce Now live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of ADP Workforce Now go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy ADP Workforce Now again?

Yes

My main issue with ADP is 1) the constantly changing of features; 2) the inability to process complicated payrolls; 3) and the lack of customer service. Otherwise, ADP is a great product for most companies. I hope ADP will continue to work on these issues to make it better in the future.
Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Microsoft Excel
ADP Workforce now is well-suited for standard payroll and benefit administration. It is less well-suited for highly complex payroll situations. And editing the payroll batch data is a nightmare and not user-friendly at all. Also, actually contacting someone at ADP when you have an issue that needs to be resolved- forget it. 2-3 hour hold times for customer service are common.
