Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

We use ADP Workforce Now on a daily basis including onboarding, payroll, tracking benefits, tracking accrual hours, taxes, child support, exporting to the accounting software, gl cost codes and more.

Pros

  • payroll taxes
  • new hire reporting to multi states
  • child support management

Cons

  • pto accrual rules/management use
  • creating benefit plans-it's confusing-even their employees struggle
  • getting help. ticket response is extremely slow
  • relieved some workload from 1 person hr
  • helps in multistate environments
  • customer service response length has gotten worse and makes it difficult to solve problems
it does seem to be "add this feature if you want/need it". Sometimes things are connected and if you do not have it, the other item does not work correctly.

Very comparable items. UKG seems to have better reports to build. More customizable dashboard for employees. As of right now, the customer service is quicker. ADP Workforce Now is widely known and therefore more people seem comfortable with it.
I do hate when a new hire has worked for a company with ADP Workforce Now previously. It causes issues in the system for us. But, in my opinion, onboarding is similar with all 3.

In our experience, tickets are not responded to quickly. They close them without solving it. They call without scheduling or do not call when scheduled. In my opinion, their employees struggle in the area they are assigned to work in.
Building benefit plans. In my experience, their own employees do not understand how to do it.
PTO accruals. I have an issue for 8 months now they cannot fix.
Ticket response. I'll put a ticket it for an issue. It has been anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks to get someone assigned.
Reports. A lot are available. In my opinion, building is not easy. It is easy to download. Some reports cannot be done. Like certain audit trails.
They manage the payroll taxes of multistates well for us.
They manage the child support for employees well for us.
