Overall Satisfaction with Appian

Great account service. dedicated support and ability to escalate
It is being used to create and in some cases smooth over a complex interdepartmental workflow.
It is being used by the whole organization.it is very applicable where you have cross-departmental workflow

  • actual low-code effort which can be created by business users and not by IT
  • integrate it with sharepoint

  • Recent issue was regarding an upgrade that needed a lot of downtime
  • It is quite expensive for the use we are getting out of it.
Easy to use and scale! not very complicated to onboard processes.
Very apt to manage a interdepartmental workflow but not very applicable to a ticketing or issue tracking situations.


With the rise of other low code BPM applications, Appian needs to keep pace with RPA, OCR, NLP and other associated technologies. They should make dashboards easy to construct as well.
