Overall Satisfaction with Apple iCloud

I use it to safely store all of my business documents - from 3D modeling (SketchUp) files, to CAD work, and other architectural related materials, including photos, etc.

Pros

  • Runs seamlessly without my input.
  • Negotiates well with my filing system.
  • Runs while working remotely ver well.
  • Feels safe (rock-solid).

Cons

  • Pricing could be tiered better as it rapidly scales from $2.99-$9.99.
  • It would be nice to know when files are being uploaded to the cloud (some indicator).
  • It would be nice to get more "notices" from iCould regarding password safety, etc. Oddly I do not get any!
  • I have run my entire business safely for over a decade on Apple iCloud!
  • Cost is not outrageous though it could be tiered more.
  • Runs quietly behind the scenes and feels reliable.
In side the Apple ecosystem, it's the only go-to for me. For someone on a non-able device, I am not sure it would feel any different than Google Drive or other cloud based services. I am thinking specifically of PCs of course.
For me Apple iCloud is the superior choice. Google Drive is acceptable but it feels much less safe (to me). I disliked MS Azure and would never use that system.

If you are in the Apple ecosystem, I give Apple iCloud a near perfect scoring. If you are outside that ecosystem it might not work as well as, say, Google Drive, e.g.
