How Atera saved my IT team
Overall Satisfaction with Atera
We have about 175 employees dispersed across Texas. Some working from our offices, but most working from home and on the road. We needed a tool that allowed for remote access, running scripts, updating the OS/drivers, monitoring, inventory and helpdesk capabilities. Atera does all of this and it does it well. I looked at other remote monitoring and management tools, but they were either too complicated or didn't fit our organizational needs.
Pros
- OS and driver updates
- Monitoring endpoint device hardware
- Run Powershell scripts against endpoint devices
- Scheduling for updates and cache cleanup
Cons
- If I stay logged into the portal overnight I noticed the device data is sometimes incorrect so I have to logout/login. I think it's a caching issue
- Time saved imaging new systems
- Less helpdesk calls due to automated driver updates and OS patching
- Proactive with endpoint issues that user is not aware of yet
Atera's single portal allows us to monitor all of our systems from one pane of glass. Before implementing Atera we had to access several systems to get the same information. Atera's portal is a time saver and frees us up to be more proactive.
