Overall Satisfaction with Canto

Used for storing and cataloging certain high value and reuse assets, including stock photos, videos, logos, etc. It is used across the whole organization, including foreign offices.

It allows us to easily find assets (the search is powerful and allows more complex searches, inc. Boolean operators) and catalog them with meaningful metadata. The ability to create custom fields and easily create a controlled list, in addition to the free text values, allows us to really create a simple and tailored solution.

In addition, the ability to associate assets, allows us to not only store meaningful IP and copyright info, but associate any legal, contractual, or consent information without any complex solutions or maintaining error-prone unassociated spreadsheets.

Better support from Canto, better documentation, and easy to customize. Didn't need to wade through masses of documentation or spend days setting up simple list options. Account managers are also a lot more respectful/less pushy.
Helpful. Also, leave me alone when I want to be left alone. Significantly less bullpoo than other sales teams.
Simple interface, good functionality. Intuitive for basic functions, so it's easy to teach people how to use it.

Intuitive software and some really good documentation. Canto staff are also very helpful. If you are already familiar with DAMs and asset management and want to configure the DAM as you see fit, Canto is a great solution. Also, bonus points for the Account Managers being helpful but also leaving me alone when I ask not to be bothered!
