Overall Satisfaction with Chartbeat

Chartbeat is used by all our editors and social media employees. It shows us the articles that are not being well-read.
  • It is easy to understand the metrics.
  • It shows the recirculation of readers in the website.
  • Chartbeat points exactly to the social media posts that are sending readers to the website.
  • There are some metrics that Chartbeat doesn't measure and it would be fine if it did. Views of the photo gallery, for example.
  • It would be nice if Chartbeat could suggest what we should try to grow the recirculation at the website.
  • I am not able to answer this question.
It is very nice because we can "see" where the visitors are and if they are reading more articles (because of the recirculation) and it is very good to see when the good effects by any change we do in the articles.
I think the dashboard is clear and simple.
Yes. The editors that take care of the homepage, for example, use the metrics to improve our performance changing positions of the articles or the titles. They could use the possibilities better, but I think that a lot of people have to learn better how to use Chartbeat
We are always trying to improve our audience and engagement, so the metrics of Chartbeat are very useful and it helps us a lot. But I think we could be more strategic using more all the metrics.
I think that one complements the other.
It is very good to guide us at the homepage of our website and, especially, to observe the articles that are maintaining the users at the website.
