Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

The app is okay. Sometimes, it looks overwhelming, complicated, and heavy. I enjoy the features like tasks and subtasks. A possibility to create the sort-of mini-Wikipedia knowledge base for every project. I can have a good view of my tasks and track them. However, this took me some good piece of time to learn how to use it with the help of my colleagues. I also had some bugs and glitches, I believe, when ClickUp didn't load up correctly or had no access to it. I lacked some quality-of-life features, like easy time tracking. We are now using Everhour for tracking it instead of ClickUp.

So, in summary: ClickUp is a very good tool for running projects. It's like Jira: at first, you hated it, and then you asked yourself, "this is no other way to manage projects."
  • Tasks
  • Project management
  • Knowledge base
  • Time tracking
  • User interface (it is overcrowded with features I don't really need)
  • Lack of stability: sometimes the webapp is crashing or not loading somehow
  • Unfortunately, I don't have access to this information.
  • However, the managers I talked to are saying that ClickUp saved a good amount of time.
We don't really use ClickUp for that kind of thing. I am not gonna talk for everybody, but in my team, we are mostly collaborating via Figma, iCloud, GoogleDocs, or MS Office Suite. Anyway, I know that our team and lead managers are using ClickUp for this sort of thing, including goal tracking, goals, OKRs, and many others.
ClickUp is okay. It improves some sort of things, but (from my point of view) I didn't see much difference between ClickUp or other tools. And again, I am just an employee who needs to track down my tasks and projects, time and, from time to time, check the progress of the other people in my team.
My favorite one is lots of stickers and the whiteboard on the wall. It gives a clear picture of how the project goes and what needs to be done. And also it is fun. Yeah, in some way, ClickUp lacks fun.

Do you think ClickUp delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with ClickUp's feature set?

Yes

Did ClickUp live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of ClickUp go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ClickUp again?

Yes

Definitely, a good case of use if you have a team and lots of tasks to manage. When you need to prepare time reports. Or when you need to keep all the information in one place.

Less appropriate could be the case when you are tight on a budget, or your team is small. Or you don't manage many projects at a time. A simple Trello board (or just a physical whiteboard with stickers) should do the trick. Well, let's just say that ClickUp is an expensive thing.
