Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
We use it as our primary ticking system for software development. I've also introduced it to the rest of the company and several teams are now currently using it including marketing, operations, and IT support.
- Easy to get started and use.
- Things are well laid out.
- Integrates well with other tools such as GitHub.
- Performance and bugs. I have to refresh the page several times a day. Things are slow to the point that when you try and add a new ticket it can take several minutes. And sometimes it's not clear if the new ticket got added or not.
- Doesn't have a great way to hand off tickets to other teams. Aka sends a ticket to another team for testing and then has them send it back. Essentially, workflows.
- ClickUp is super fast to get going with. They make it easy to configure and have a lot of teams use it very quickly. Additionally, the GitHub integration is super helpful.
It's been great for us to document ideas, issues, and projects. We have set up refined workflows where teams create tickets to let us know about feature requests or bugs.
It's been a great ticketing system. We previously used some other ticket systems, but ClickUp makes it a lot easier to see a large number of tickets at once and be able to arrange them appropriately.
ClickUp strikes the right balance between easy to configure and having enough features that allow you to effectively track a large number of tickets.
