Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

KanBan board for the design process.
Project management tool for internal initiatives.
  • Pull in people via assignee attribution or @mention or watchers.
  • Format options within the description box include tables and checklists among many other choices.
  • Auto-save.
  • The checklist in its complete state is hard to read (it's a faint grey).
  • The Low priority flag (light grey) is very faint and difficult to identify.
  • Dashboards' widgets require reading/understanding documentation. Looking forward to being able to apply filters on more widgets.
  • Reduced effort versioning project timelines.
  • Reduced overhead for project management.
It provides visibility and a method of communicating projects/initiatives in flight as our company grows and where we want to avoid "working in silos".
Instead of sending emails and chatting in Teams and sharing documents in Sharepoint, we can do all of that in ClickUp, in a single place. It saves time and effort trying to gather all the relevant information.
More pleasant, automated and intuitive UI and UX.

It's a great tool for project management where there are many moving pieces and various contributors. I've been able to collaborate directly in ClickUp, and ensure we're on track for deadlines in a single place.

  • Creating and editing tasks and its functions such as sub-task and assignee.
  • Select different views like boards, Gantt, timeline, calendar, etc.
  • Auto-saving allows you not to worry about manually saving changes.
  • Pulling in a new column to the list view. Ex: Start Date is not displayed as a default so adding it can be confusing because the "create a new field' option is most prominent and I've accidentally done that instead.
  • I still hesitate when choosing to use a sub-task or using a checklist.
