Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

I run my own business as a naturalist and educator providing ecological consulting, environmental education, and GIS mapping services. I use ClickUp to help me keep track of tasks and to-do's for every aspect of my business, from staying in touch with clients to the fine details of completing projects.
  • The user interface is extraordinarily well designed and easy to use.
  • ClickUp is very versatile; I find it useful for tracking all kinds of tasks and to-do's.
  • ClickUp has many personalization options, so I can track tasks and to-do's in exactly the way that works best for me.
  • I appreciate that ClickUp offers many layers of organization (Spaces, Folders, Lists, Tasks, and multiple layers of Sub-tasks).
  • ClickUp is VERY affordable compared to similar online organizational products.
  • It took me awhile to figure out how to apply custom statuses to all new Spaces/Folders/Lists.
  • It also took me awhile to figure out how to apply custom fields to all new Spaces/Folders/Lists.
  • It would be nice if each task had a simple check box that could be used to mark it "Complete" with one click.
  • Without the task organization that ClickUp provides, it would be much more difficult for me to manage my business.
  • ClickUp has allowed me to upgrade from trying to manage task lists on many pieces of paper to one centralized online system.
  • ClickUp actually makes it FUN for me to manage my tasks and to-do's!
I am the only employee of my business, so I don't use ClickUp's collaboration tools. However, I do use ClickUp to remind me about and track communications with my clients, and for this it has been extremely helpful!
For me, as a one-person small business, ClickUp has allowed me to stop trying to keep track of tasks and to-do's via lists written on multiple pieces of paper...a system that did not work well for me at all. ClickUp has given me a single centralized online location where I can track everything, and I can access it from anywhere via my computer or my phone.
I spent a LONG time researching and evaluating different apps and online for organizing my personal and professional tasks and to-do's. I was delighted when I finally found ClickUp! I found that ClickUp is far more beautifully and usefully designed than other products, and it provides for much more versatility and personalization. ClickUp has so many amazing features (even if I don't personally use all of them), and I find it impressive that new features and improvements are being added constantly. In addition, ClickUp is one of the most affordable options I found!

I think ClickUp is extremely versatile. In other words, it works well for me as a single person running my own very small business, and I can also see how it would work well for a larger business with many employees. ClickUp can be set up to use as a relatively simple "to-do list," and it can also be set up to use in much more complex ways. The only scenario I would say that ClickUp would not be great is if an individual wanted to use it as a simple to-do list and they didn't have the patience or expertise to figure out how to navigate all of the possible settings and features to set it up. There are much simpler to-do list apps and websites out there, but I personally appreciate the versatility and numerous features of ClickUp.
