Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

We use it across all verticals within our organization. From Finance to our Dev team, everyone utilizes it.
  • Allows sharing across the company verticals of relevant information located in each Space
  • Easy to onboard and adapt to as a new user
  • Support is easy to find and contact, there's a wealth of third party sites and YouTubers with information on how to get the most out of the product
  • Better organization of features. For instance, I oftentimes stumble onto features in this application, which I then rejoice for because I didn't know they previously existed but I also feel like because there are so many layers to ClickUp it's hard to find what you're looking for more or less 'new capabilities' because you're constantly wading thru layers of configuration or prior feature/enhancement releases.
  • More agile tools, especially backlog and road mapping tools.
  • I don't think I've been using ClickUp long enough to gauge it's ROI on my organization.
  • ClickUp has allowed the Project Management team to better organize and disseminate work across company verticals
It's allowed teams that don't usually work closely together to do so seamlessly, it's been the center point of how we collaborate now across these verticals which allows us to move away from stove piping. In fairness, this probably could have been done with another tool, but just not as easy as it has been with ClickUp
We have yet to explore this feature and integrate it without our streams of work.
Cost is a huge factor in choosing ClickUp over its competitors. Adaption and the amount of features that are baked into the product are another driving factor for why I'd pick it over it's competitors. ClickUp's strength comes from its battery of features and out-of-the-box enhancements that do not require you to purchase additional products from third party vendors as you see with some of the other tools in the market.

Its low or no cost to entry is a very VERY attractive feature. It being a SaaS and not requiring any setup on the end-user except that of their own workspace also makes it an easy choice when exploring the marketplace for tools such as this. How well the areas in which you actually do work in are organized is a big plus; Spaces > Folders > Lists, it makes sense. There definitely is a learning curve if you're coming from Github or Atlassian, ClickUp forces you to re-think where a project lives and who are the stakeholders that need access to that content in order to get work done. Using ClickUp with agile is a bit of a challenge, it's not set up out-of-the-box to be able to use effectively by an agile team. This is a barrier to entry as you have to add/enable elements of the application (which are easy) before you can utilize scrum, or create an effective backlog, or even use Kanban in a way where the agile team will utilize it appropriately.
