Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use ClickUp across the entire Marketing department to create a streamlined way of kickstarting projects and keeping everyone aware of the status of work. We have several teams who in the past worked in silos and were unaware of the volume of work being done as a whole. ClickUp has allowed us to fully customize the experience and build exactly what we need to support an unlimited amount of projects and keep everything organized and shared in real time.

We have saved hundreds of hours by integrating ClickUp with our other internal platforms to start projects. Cutting down the number of hours spent on manual entry allows us to start actual project work sooner.
ClickUp has allowed us a way to give projects a unique identification code so we are able to save corresponding working assets on shared servers with the same information keeping everything orderly once a project is archived.

Collaboration

Absolutely, our collaboration has greatly increased since implementing ClickUp. Prior to ClickUp or previous project management tool was very one directional. ClickUp allows us to have several teams assigned to a project at the same time and work from different timelines for their various needs. We are better aligned to know what is happening across the entire organization and not from just our particular part of the puzzle.

All-in-One Productivity Platform

Yes, we have been able to eliminate hundreds of licenses to other platforms that contained the same information. Integrating the information with internal systems allows for significant time savings as well. We have reduced the amount of manual work needed by setting up automations and shortcuts making starting projects much more efficient.

Basecamp

We were limited with the way Basecamp was designed. ClickUp allowed us to fully customize the experience to fit our needs. This also helped us be able to identify projects with a unique number/letter sequence, which helped us to better archive completed work on shared servers.

The greatest strength of ClickUp is also the biggest downfall. Having the ability to fully customize the experience at any time is great, but it comes at a cost of anyone being able to then change that experience and make it difficult to stick to a standard process. We have a lot of groups that use the software in a number of ways, which can be difficult when one group follows a particular format, but another group does not. We have had to give multiple trainings to the same individuals time and again.
