A simple way to a complicated job
Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
I am the IT admin of the company. We have 6 office locations and this helps me connect to users that have problems or computers that I need to update.
Pros
- Easy to setup
- Easy to use
- Lots of features
- Can connect from anywhere, not computer or installation dependent.
Cons
- None
- It does everything I want.
- Helped us keep IT resolutions internal
- No need to hire a 3rd party, cost saving.
- More control of our computer fleet.
- Better staff satisfaction for getting help on their computer.
- SolarWinds Dameware Remote Everywhere, Dameware Remote Support and GoToMyPC
Dameware: I don't remember the exact version but I had 2 of their engineers trying to install or setting the demo up on my computers over 2 sessions and they never were able to make it work. I was able to access the location's computers but never remote offices. All other software were crazy out of price range, I forgot the names of all of them, not to be remembered anyway.

It had to be easy to setup and easy to access remote computers at a price that does not break the bank.
I rarely ever regret anything, I commit.
