Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
We use ConnectWise to support our remote users. We have the agent installed on their laptops for unattended access. We also use the support features to help independent remote users with issues on our website. Some of our Marketing staff use the meeting features to give demos about our products and website.
Pros
- Easy to connect to remote machines.
- Very unobtrusive, and easy to install and update.
- Great features and tools are available.
Cons
- It would be nice if the meeting feature allowed more features so that participants could control or contribute to the meetings.
- Our reason for moving to ConnectWise was to tighten security on our network. We removed our VPN services, and ConnectWise was able to provide the services we needed to connect remotely (no longer needing a VPN session).
ConnectWise was a better choice for us because it allowed us to better manage and organize access to our remote machines. It also added value because it provided the support and meeting sessions that we didn't have before.
