Overall Satisfaction with DocuSign

DocuSign has been a great tool for getting contracts and agreements executed in a quick, simple method. We generally use it for sales, legal papers, shareholder agreements, and advanced vendor agreements. The main business problems it is solving are that it keeps a complete record of all signed documents with day/time stamps, and it expedites the sales process.
  • Simple sign up process.
  • Simple set up for a user to begin using for their agreements.
  • A record and history of all documents.
  • You can send agreements from anywhere.
  • It could have a better tutorial for new users.
  • It's not terrible by any means, but I always believe the UX can be improved and iterated over time.
  • Possibly a text message alert once a document has been signed by the other party.
  • MUCH quicker closing time.
  • It gets the client activated into our systems more efficiently and easy to share with all parties that need access.
  • Time is money. DocuSign saves time, and the more time your salespeople have to sell, the better for your business.
  • I had used Adobe before and it is not a simple experience. The last thing you want is for your customers to have trouble signing an electronic document. It defeats the purpose.
  • HelloSign is a nice product, but may have been a bit overkill for what our needs were. And they were more expensive when you take into account users.
At the end of the day, we just felt DocuSign met our needs more than the other vendors.
First, they do not hide the support call to action, and when you open the support page up, there is plenty of information to search. To be honest, I've only had to use support once, and a solution was quickly identified through their chat window. As we possibly roll it out to other departments or utilize APIs, we may need more support, but it's a very simple product.

The efficiency of DocuSign is its true power, I believe. No more printing, signing, scanning and then sending back. Salespeople love this product because it's so simple for them to get the sign-off on an agreement. It's simple to use for the end-user. At $25 for the Standard plan, it's certainly well worth the time saved. You never want to give your prospect time to change their mind, and if they are not in the office, you have to wait for them to come back and send back.
