Exclaimer Signature Software for the Win!
Overall Satisfaction with Exclaimer
We use it for distributing customised e-mail signatures and marketing banners. It has solved our issues with providing relevant information to external parties and keeping our marketing campaigns up-to-date.
Pros
- Synchronising AD contact details for all staff members
- Allowing us to run successful Marketing campaigns
- Easy customisation of our e-mail signature configurations
Cons
- Unable to export and import signatures in a standard html format
- Unable to generate digital business cards (QR or VCF) in cloud platform. It is only available in on-prem versions.
- Time saved through simplified email signature management
- Greater regulatory compliance using an official disclaimer
- Using relevant marketing banners/adverts to draw attention to specific news or company achievements
We have not used these features as yet. Our signature rules are based on various AD groups.
Not yet. We are still configuring our cloud portal.
Exclaimer provides much more flexibility with regards to designs and customised rules. It's also much easier to manage all aspects on the platform itself, both on-prem and cloud.

Evaluating Exclaimer and Competitors
Yes - We used an in-house .php platform to generate e-mail signatures for our IBM Domino environment before switching to Exchange. It was not as user-friendly and intuitive as Exclaimer.

- Product Features
- Product Usability
- Product Reputation
- Prior Experience with the Product
Product features because it was far more robust than our in-house platform, native IBM Domino and native MS Exchange server features.
The same process would be followed to have trials of comparitive products and platforms and evaluate the pro's and con's of each.

No. We've never needed to pay for premium support because the standard support we've received, since inception, has always been premium quality (i.e. speedy and efficient).
Yes - Our last issue was an on-prem Sent Items Update service error. Instructions were sent to me but I was already engaging with the support team to configure our cloud account, so I have not implemented any of the required on-prem changes as yet.
Many, but the 2 last instances were 1.) assisting with configuring our new signature layout on the cloud portal and, 2.) assisting with the AD and 0365 integration (still in progress).
