Overall Satisfaction with EZ Texting

EZ Texting allows us a platform to communicate with our team members. We have 37 locations and most of our team members are not in front of their computers all day and are not the best at checking emails. By being able to text them we can communicate important information and know that it will be viewed.

Pros

  • Creating subsets to text groups within a group
  • Easy to upload new employees
  • Easy to remove former employees

Cons

  • Easier way of uploading lists to already include them in sub groups
  • Sometimes character counts get confusing
  • Saves us time when sending messages
  • Helps better spread our message
  • Makes it easy to text out a link
It's extremely user friendly. I have taught multiple team members how to use it and they pick up quickly. It's easy to follow and easy to use right away. The only thing that can be confusing at first is learning to set up keywords but once I figured it out it was pretty easy!
We've been users of EZ Texting for so long it's hard to recall and the process has most likely changed in the 7-8 years we've been users. Any time I do need help they are very quick to respond and help so I imagine onboarding was similarly easy and helpful.
Both systems work well - for our purposes EZ Texting works best for communicating with all of our team members vs. ClickSend we use for a specific group.

The easiest way to use EZ Texting is with a group of people with who you already have permission to text, IE employees. I wouldn't overdo it but it's great to have another way to communicate quickly and easily. While it works for non-employees, you'll have more hoops to jump through to comply with SPAM laws when texting. EZ Texting makes it easy though so don't be discouraged - any platform would have this issue. If you have a small enough team you might as well text the traditional way but if you need to text more than 10 people at once I recommend this!

N/A - we haven't tried on our end. The only thing that may fall under this is that when we upload information it would be nice to be able to add to multiple groups at a time.

We didn't really look at other companies so if we were starting over we would probably have vetted out the competition.

EZ Texting Implementation

Change management was minimal - Since this has all been kept with one person we didn't have to deal with much change management.

Very user friendly and easy to use. If you prefer not to train with someone it's very doable.

Configuring EZ Texting

It works very well - there are some features that I wish could be better personalized but it does what we need it to.
If everyone is added to a group or a large chunk of people, upload them to that group with the mass upload and then go in and manually add to any other groupings.
No - we have not done any customization to the interface
No - the product does not support adding custom code

EZ Texting Reliability

We haven't really utilized it for this purpose but it does seem like there are a lot of great options you can utilize.
Never had an issue with availability
It works pretty well but sometimes things don't work the way you would assume, IE marking messages as read is not as intuitive

Relationship with CallFire

We set up with them a long time ago so if we had an agent I don't recall.
Pretty easy to work with.
We have been grandfathered into our old package, but I wish there were better package options offered now.

Upgrading EZ Texting

Yes - If we can find a package that better fits our needs, however right now there isn't a better option.
