Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We use Gong to record our online meetings with customers. I am a customer success manager, and with Gong, I can write the meeting minutes quickly and easily as Gong AI generates a summary. This lets me begin writing on the meeting summary and edit as I see fit. Often, I find the starting phase to be difficult, so this Gong AI really helps. With Gong, I can also check on past discussions with my customers to confirm what has been agreed upon and follow up on outstanding tasks. Another useful feature is Gong works with Zoom and Teams meetings, so I have a record of the calls I have with my customers regardless of the meeting platform used.

Many times, starting to write a meeting summary after a meeting can be rather challenging, as I don't know where to start. BGong.io helps me kick-start with composing the meeting summaries, and I can then edit them to my liking, making the summary more personal instead of AI-generated. Helping me remember what was said in a discussion is crucial for my line of work.
Gong.io provides valuable insights for me to sieve through the points that are raised in a meeting. I like the action items that are generated, as these will form my follow-up plan with the customer. Although it is not 100% accurate, it is close enough for me to fine-tune the tasks required.
With the call recordings and summaries by Gong, I can see the common issues and requests customers make. This helps me identify what's the flavour of the month, so to speak. The recordings also allow me to revisit the action items agreed upon during the meetings and check back with my customers to see if they have done what they are committed to.
The recording function, CRM integration and AI generated meeting minutes are winners for me when compared with the other product.

Gong is good for recording meetings for recall, verification, and tracking purposes. It is also good for training purposes - by viewing the recordings of my colleagues, I can learn how they are conducting the meetings. This will allow new employees to learn skills quickly and efficiently and get up to speed faster. One area of improvement is the user interface, which looks kind of dated. Another area is when I try to search for a specific call, I often don't get the desired result, and I find myself having to dig around more than I feel is necessary.
