Overall Satisfaction with Google Analytics
GA is used across the entire organization, but probably most actively in our department. It helps us understand consumer behavior on our website, which is quite expansive and complex. It has proven to be invaluable to our institution, with actionable insights about every part of our business. I could not be more pleased with its ease of use and the accuracy of the information and data within.
- campaign tracking
- conversion tracking
- user path tracking
- content evaluation
- training modules for advanced users
- GUI dashboard walkthroughs, sometimes less experienced members of the organization have a difficult time creating dashboards
- cross-channel attribution; allowing for 3rd party data like sales call analytics, integration with other analytics platforms, etc
- Immeasurable improvement. We would be lost without it.
- Coremetrics and Site Catalyst
Coremetrics offered better support to the admins, but the data was unclear and often misleading. Site catalyst is difficult to use and has a high barrier to entry. Google analytics is a better data platform, with a better user interface, but they are lacking in the support like IBM offered from Coremetrics. Still, I would choose Google over IBM any day, and I don't see that changing.

- none. Some users complain about not understanding how different dimensions work with different metrics, but that is something that can be learned easily.
Yes - if you need detailed reporting the mobile interface will not suffice, but for top-line, top-level metrics it is perfect for quick reference.
