Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Connect

GoTo Connect phone system is used for our district and school sites. Programming phones is simple via the admin console and allows us to make changes within minutes. Incoming calls can be received on the phone or via email. Several phone models are available for our different needs and all devices work together seamlessly. The Customer Service Department is very helpful when contacted and the follow-up to make sure an issue has been taken care of is appreciated.

Pros

  • Customer Service
  • Admin console is user friendly
  • Device replacement is easy

Cons

  • No more company name changes
  • Would like to speak with the same customer service rep vs starting over when having to call back for an unresolved issue
  • minimal downtime with the phone system
  • ability to receive voice mail via email allows to work when not in the office
The system was already implemented before I came on board so I had to jump in to be the "phone go-to person" and it was fairly easy to self-teach along with customer service folks that had the patience to explain how things worked and best practices
I'm sure there are more bells & whistles than what we utilize but the features we use, allows us to conduct business on a daily basis without obstacles or system downtime.

Microsoft 365, Google Classroom, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Microsoft Intune + SCCM)
I recently had to conduct some troubleshooting of a device it was quickly determined the device was defective and needed to be replaced; a new device was received within one week along w/a packaging material/shipping label to return the defective device. Setting up the new device took a phone call to Customer Service but the process to get the new device working properly took less than 10 minutes.
