Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Connect

We migrated from an on-prem very out-of-date system to GoTo Connect. The difference is night and day. GoTo Connect gives us so many more options that our users need. For example, the ability for a teacher to use the mobile app to contact parents without showing their personal cell phone number. We are using desk phones, mobile and software apps, faxing, texting, GoTo Meeting, and more. We have about 1,100 users/active phone numbers on it currently. Feedback from users has been very positive.

  • Time savings due to no local servers to upgrade and work on
  • Time savings from no local product maintenance
The project management was great. Weekly calls, and good responses to questions, helped us plan the timeline. Install, and config services were helpful and timely. After the migration, they did not disappear, but weekly calls continued for a while, and they worked with us to keep tweaking it.
Definitely, it has brought different communications together into one phone number for a person. Now a number does voice, texting, mobile use, and more.
We did a RFP and received over a dozen replies of proposals. We narrowed the list down and did in-person presentations on the top 3. We had an evaluation committee including IT, business office, and others to get real user input. We chose GoTo Connect because it has a very good way they implemented the features we were looking for, came in at a good price point, and explained their services and processes well. Some others did not explain themselves as well or seemed like features were not as well done.

For a K12 school district like ourselves, it works great. Safety is important, and it allows us to have failover for 911 in case the internet is not accessible. Works well for classroom and office users.
