Overall Satisfaction with Grasshopper

We use it as our primary phone line, I also have a line that I use as a direct number for business cards so I can avoid giving out my personal cell phone everywhere I go. So it's used across the whole organization and it manages all of our company phone calls. I also receive texts via Grasshopper.
  • Dialing out via the app.
  • Transcribed voice mail and VM via email.
  • The interface on the website is easy to use.
  • Sometimes I have issues receiving or making calls on my cell phone.
  • My phone provider sometimes blocks calls forwarded from Grasshopper because it thinks they are spam.
  • The SMS service seems to be inconsistent in reliability.
  • We get phone calls.
  • Embarrassing when I miss one though because it doesn't come through.
  • For me, the less I think about my phone system the better. I expect it to be invisible.
I liked the interface and pricing model better. I also like the app way better than RingCentral's which is a dumpster fire. I really like being able to dial out easily from my phone from a Grasshopper number, though I wish I could somehow do that from my mail dailer. Either way, the interface is way better.
The one time I had a tech support issue, my phone app wasn't working properly, it was a real bear to get it resolved at the tech support person seemed ill-equipped to handle it. That was a very frustrating experience, but when this product works it seems to work really well with no issues.

We work with a lot of small businesses and we find that it's a much better solution than having people use their personal cell phone but without the extreme expense or commitment of a business phone contract. It's perfect for a startup or a small organization getting their footing and trying to grow.
