Overall Satisfaction with Groove

Our team of business development reps use Groove to manage their daily prospecting activities. Calls, emails, and LinkedIn touches are organized into specific flows targeting personas and verticals, with an emphasis on kicking off engagement with potential customers. From a leadership standpoint, we use Groove to monitor rep activities and provide coaching, as well as homogenize and control messaging team-wide.

Pros

  • Integration with Salesforce is the best in the industry.
  • Automates compliance with CCPA, GDPR, etc.
  • Flexibility to use the tool across multiple platforms - Groove can be used in multiple ways!

Cons

  • Reporting - their focus is on Salesforce reporting, so built-in reporting is not as robust as other platforms
  • Bounce rates need to be finessed out of the platform, they are not readily visible.
  • 25% increase in rep productivity
Groove is incredibly easy to use, and is flexible enough to use in a way that suits each rep. With the Omnibar, it can be used directly from Outlook, or reps can use it directly in the Groove platform itself. You can use their built-in dialer, email functionality, and even some LInkedIn messages.
Groove is simple. Like their competitors, they give you the ability to create templated "Flows" (sequences) of calls, emails, and LinkedIn touches. Some of them can be automated, but it's also simple to personalize outreach. Ultimately, my decision to purchase Groove over some of the competitors was based on their Salesforce integration, as well as white-glove customer service.

If you are looking for a sales engagement platform that is completely integrated to Salesforce, Groove is the best. They make it so much easier than any other competitor I've used (and I've used them all!). With Groove, I can create a report on event leads and add the filter "View MY leads." At that point, I can send that report to all my reps, they can open it in Groove, and instantly add their leads to a Flow - no one else makes it this simple. You can even pull leads directly from the Campaign object!

From a data privacy standpoint, your leads never leave Salesforce. There is no separate database inside of Groove, so one less compliance issue to think of.

If you need tons of analytics directly in the platform, Groove isn't there yet, but they are currently in beta on some stronger analytics, but even with that they won't have the power of some of the more legacy platforms in the space.
