Overall Satisfaction with Hootsuite

I use Hootsuite to plan my social media posts. It helps me stay organized and provides suggestions on the best time to post, as well as assists with writing content.

Pros

  • Shortening posts for Twitter.
  • Providing hashtag suggestions.
  • Social listening for brand awareness.

Cons

  • Support for LinkedIn groups would be nice.
  • Tagging on LinkedIn can be clumsy, and it's not always easy to find the company or person.
  • Increased followers.
  • Increased traffic to the website.
  • Saves time with social media calendar.
I love Hootsuite. It's a real time-saver and allows me to plan my social media strategy effectively. I'm able to pull analytics and pivot if needed quickly. They listen to feedback and continually implement new features, which I appreciate. One of my favorite new features is the ability to optimize the length of posts. I would give a 10 rating if there were support for LinkedIn groups.
Hootsuite enables me to schedule posts in advance and make adjustments as needed. There have been times when I needed to update a post several times before posting, so I appreciate the draft feature. It allows me to get the content exactly right before scheduling.
