Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

HubSpot CRM is being used in our sales and marketing department within our organization. We fully take advantage of the Sales hub by managing all our deals from prospecting through closings. In addition, we use the Hubspot for email communication through sequences as well as individual emails to prospects and clients alike. We integrate HubSpot CRM with various software, such as Outlook and Pandadoc, to simplify our sales and marketing efforts.
  • Ease of use
  • Integration with other software
  • It allows us to see all touchpoints with a contact, including the history of emails, phone calls, voicemails, Deals won and lost, etc. It really helps to paint the picture about our client accounts and target accounts.
  • When creating a Deal from a contact or company contact, there are fields that should automatically fill out, or pull from the contact record but don't. It's redundant to have to put in the company name and address in a Deal when that information already exists in the Company record.
  • It would be nice to have the ability for HTML and graphics in sales sequences. This seems to only exist in the Marketing hub.
  • A really nice feature would be the ability to Clone deals. We create a lot of Deals in Hubspot, and in many cases have renewals and extensions to our contracts. Rather than having to build a new Deal from scratch, being able to Clone an existing Deal and simply updating it from there would be a huge timesaver!
  • HubSpot CRM has been HUGE in helping us reach more people in our database through Salesforce automation. I have the ability to send 500 individual emails a day to clients and prospects. I could not do that manually. And it allows our organization to track interest in our messaging, saving time on who to qualify first.
  • Hubspot has helped us better visualize our sales pipeline and improved our deal cycles.
  • Automation such as tasks is helpful in tracking dates for contacting clients with renewals, sending out client satisfaction surveys, and other internal tasks.
I only briefly used Salesforce and did not like the Classic view that we had. I have found Hubspot to be more intuitive and easier to learn.
We switched from Salesforce to Hubspot in 2020, but I was not a frequent user of Salesforce at the time our company used it. We made the switch to Hubspot to save money.

Do you think HubSpot CRM delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with HubSpot CRM's feature set?

Yes

Did HubSpot CRM live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of HubSpot CRM go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy HubSpot CRM again?

Yes

HubSpot CRM is great for large and small companies. I don't have much experience with CRMs to be able to point out the differences between Hubspot and their competitors, such as Salesforce, but I believe that it fits our company's needs very well and is truly affordable.

Using HubSpot CRM

3 - Sales org.
2 - It helps to have an understanding of sales management and workflows, but it is not necessary. Our sales admin was new to sales and to our specific industry and company when she started and was able to learn Hubspot quickly and master how we use it in her first year.
  • Sales Management (creating and tracking all deals)
  • Account Management
  • Sales & Marketing campaigns (prospecting and nurturing campaigns)
  • Revenue tracking (sales booking pace and other metrics to understand what we sell, how often, and to whom).
  • We use our Deal Notes to produce a document to inform our service delivery team about the deals we close so they can better service the client.
  • We can definitely improve our usage of the Marketing hub
  • We could improve some of the workflow automations
We completely satisfied with Hubspot that there is no question about renewing our subscription.

Evaluating HubSpot CRM and Competitors

Yes - We replaced Salesforce and it was mainly due to cost.
  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
Cost and usability were the primary factors.
I wasn't involved in the process the first time, however after speaking with those who were, I don't see anything that we would have changed.

  • Creating Contact and Company Records
  • Since we create a lot of Deals, many are renewal and extensions to our service, we find creating new Deals from existing Deals cumbersome. It's not hard, but it's very repetitive. We offered a suggestion for the ability to Clone Deals.
Yes - The mobile interface is pretty good, but I prefer the desktop version better. However, in a pinch, the mobile app is handy to look up Deals, contacts, etc.
