Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

We use Hubspot as our CRM for customer data, deals and contacts. It's the master data for all these. It is also used as a marketing platform to send newsletters and other information to our contact lists. Additionally, we have integrated the data for our reporting solutions.

Pros

  • Friendly user interface
  • Good for customer and deal data management
  • Customizable

Cons

  • Ticketing functionality would be useful but lacks still some features that other ticketing systems include
  • Pricing model can be challenging when increasing usage
  • Better managing of e-mail templates would be a nice feature
  • All deals and customer data in one place
  • Quick way to reach all the customer contacts
  • Clear reports for deals
It's much simpler and cleaner user interface. I've used for example Salesforce before and it is much more complex and has too many views and parameters for most users. The search works pretty well too. Maybe the only bit confusing thing is sometimes the navigation.
It's the one place that everybody in our organization can go to to see the latest data on our current and prospect customers. It's easy to see what the pipeline looks or go and look up what previous discussions or deals we have made with a specific customer. Good especially for B2B usage.
Clearly focused on core CRM and small and medium size organization requirements. It's easy to get started with the free / low cost options and expand usage when your own business grows. No need for high upfront investments. Also it's much less complex than some bigger platforms out there and therefore the learning curve is easy.

I think it's great for the core usage: storing customer data and using it as the master data for all customer related things. It is clearly aimed for small and medium sized businesses. For larger enterprises it is propably too packaged and limited as they often want more from a platform than a product with just few parameters to tweak.
