Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

We use HubSpot CRM as our central database to track subscriber count and online activity. We communicate with supporters, grassroots activists, event invitees, donors, and other stakeholders through email marketing. The contact data in the CRM is also used to match individual profiles to IP addresses for digital advertising audiences.

I had about ten years of experience with customer relationship management software and email sending platforms prior to using HubSpot. I've found that you eventually get the hang of it if you only need basic functionality, but training employees takes a bit of time. I have needed to outsource more complex work to professional web developers and IT experts from time to time.
HubSpot CRM allows you to create much more complex and sophisticated workflows than most competitors that I have used. At the same time, it does the basics very well if all you want to do is create a list of contacts, send them emails, and measure your email deliverability and engagement metrics.

HubSpot was not designed with public policy issue think tanks in mind, but it can be adaptable if you know what you are doing. I inherited it when I was hired, and despite never using it before, have renewed our subscription multiple times. It does the basics well, while allowing you to build out more complex custom properties and workflows if needed.
