Great for Small Businesses Who Want to Nurture Their Customers.
Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp to communicate with our customers about our business activities, promotions, and product information. We want to engage with our customers because when we engage, we find they come in and purchase more often.

Yes, we were able to segment our audience based on their orders, allowing us to create targeted campaigns. We felt that this would help our audience build trust with us, knowing we weren't just emailing them all the time for every little thing that was going on. We also used this to develop our customer loyalty program.

Yes, for the most part, they did help us achieve our goals, and even if not specifically, they provided us with valuable insights into how our customers were engaging with us. We tested a couple of programs to see if customers would respond and learned what worked and what didn't. Overall, we had the confidence we could do these things without having to be email experts.
The in-line text editor helped us clean up our copy and come up with more compelling subject lines. It didn't always get it right, but it consistently provided us with new ideas that we could build upon, so we appreciated using it, even as a countercheck to our created copy.
I have been very impressed by how Mailchimp made it easy for a small business to engage with its customers, even with inexperienced owners creating campaigns. Without its intuitive platform and tools, we probably would have stayed away from email marketing in the early days of our company. As we grew and wanted to bring on an agency to help, it was easy to onboard them and continue to work with it personally and through the agency.
For us, Klayvio was more advanced and not as easy to use if you don't have experience in email marketing. It is a good platform, but it is probably better if you are working with an agency or someone who understands the technology better.
