Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp for our monthly newsletter and occasional product updates. Mailchimp helped us send emails to our subscribers without any hassle, and the HTML copies generated or made in Mailchimp were of very high quality. It helps us manage all the subscribers under one roof, and integrating it with our user register makes it much more efficient.
Pros
- It helps you send newsletters.
- It helps you manage your audience.
- It helps you with high deliverability.
Cons
- The UI/UX is very bulky and can be streamlined.
- Better native integrations, like with Intercom, should be made.
- Support is very slow, and even if you have a genuine & urgent concern, they take an eternity to solve it, which usually affects the business.
- We had once written a newsletter about crypto, and we were not promoting any specific crypto; we just mentioned it. However, Mailchimp banned our account & the newsletter from being sent out. Even after connecting with the support, they took days to reinstate the account and acknowledge that there was no unfair play from us. This not only delayed our newsletter, but we also had to cancel it since it had become outdated in the 15 days that Mailchimp took to resolve the issue.
Not much. I upload contacts and assign them a tag, which I use then. Their audience UI is not that great, and it takes a lot of time to load.

Our email deliverability was initially low, and we had a very low open rate; however, thanks to Mailchimp, it has since improved. We started seeing 75% open rates, which indicated that our deliverability had improved since the first newsletter.
It scaled very well as we increased from 5,000 to 15,000 users, plus the newsletter subscribers. The pricing was great, as the pricing of other tools/platforms was significantly higher than Mailchimp's. Pricing was an important factor in opting for Mailchimp.

The pricing of Mailchimp was the best when compared to other newsletter platforms. This is why we decided to go with it. The offering at that price is really impressive and mostly compensates for the other features.
I won't change it because it was a good expereince which resulted in a nice execution.
