Overall Satisfaction with Iterable
We use Iterable as our centralized CRM platform to manage communications with existing customers across channels such as email, push, and in-app messages. Our efforts focus on driving engagement and retention for our various subscription services. Iterable helps us to coordinate and personalize these communication to various user cohorts. Iterable's flexible data model has been incredibly beneficial in empowering our team to do more at a lower cost than some of the other major players in the space.
Pros
- Flexible Data Model
- Easy to ease UI
- Responsive support team
- Easy implementation
- Superior pricing
- They put on great events too!
Cons
- For those looking for support outside North America, I think Iterable has some work to do in order to better support the international community.
- Iterable can be a bit slower than competitors when adopting the latest iOS and Android features.
- Significant cost savings (40%)
- Improved customer engagement by 16%
- Time-to-market is days instead of weeks
After the initial product implantation of DNS records and SDK's, it is incredibly easy to bring data into Iterable and begin launching multi-channel campaigns. Someone new to the UI can start creating and sending their first messages in less than an hour. Having a leaner team at our company, Iterable has helped our team to launch more initiatives at a much faster pace than we otherwise could with more traditional marketing clouds. Segmenting users and creating multi-channel user journeys with personalized messages is made accessible to even the greenest marketers. As we say internally, you can buy the most sophisticated tools, but if no one can figure out how to use them effectively, then they are worthless.
The more user data and events your bring into Iterable, the easier it will be to deliver personalized messages at key points within the user journey. Iterable's data agnostic approach allows to bring in customer data from CSVs, CDPs, data warehouses, and more. All of the customer data can be leveraged across the user journey and within the individual messages allow you to really focus on the right message at the right time. Some notable examples we have used, include event specific notifications, welcome journeys, cancellation emails and follow-up surveys, etc. We use Iterable to communicate with the customer across their entire lifecycle.
Far and away, Iterable is easier to use and more cost-effective. While Iterable may not have the bells and whistles or integrations that some of their competitors offer, Iterable can still meet the large majority of business use cases and is easy to use for marketers. As I mentioned previously, you can by the most sophisticated tools in the world, but if you're team cannot use them effectively, then what's the point.
