Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

KnowBe4 is used for a primary function to increase Information Security awareness. In addition we use it for compliance with 2 factors, HIPAA compliance having all company staff take HIPAA awareness training and for certification. We also use it for its test phishing abilities, we send periodic phishing drills to our staff.
  • HIPAA awareness training - a variety of training options.
  • Information security awareness training - a variety of training options.
  • Phishing drills - they have a vast amount of updated phishing test for all levels will full customization abilities.
  • We can upload any type of LMS content and use it to share company particular training with our staff.
  • Branding, since KnowBe4 has a very big selection of training material, that is also its down side, as it's not particularly branded to our company, so we try to overcome by use of colors, notifications and now I hear for some content it can be branded to an extent.
  • Feature request: Although features are added on a regular basis, it takes time until they are available.
  • Active Directory integration - There is AD integration which works to a certain degree, we had some difficulty with this as we could not bring over the OU, so we are manual until it will be fixed.
  • The ROI is with training; before, it was very difficult to train staff across many time zones and areas, now it's very easy.
  • COVID-19 episode, no worries, we continued to send training and notifications with the KnowBe4 platform.
We checked their product and decided to go with KnowBe4 due to the abilities and multi-language training.
We do use iSpring for other things but not for awareness training

The tool is very robust, but since I have experience with the tool, I know its capabilities and abilities. For us it meets our goals, we are intending on expanding the use of the tool. Like any LMS, the options are plenty and there is a learning curve, however, the support and success manager were always available to help and they were very very professional. Never had an issue with support.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training Implementation

Until today we have an issue with Active directory integration, and I have to import our users from AD manually this is very painful. and Why, due to a limitation where the product does not import the OU field, so I can not know, to which division the user belongs, I must map this manually.

Change management was a minor issue with the implementation - We did not have a system before, so this being our first implemented training platform, we had no significant issues with the change management

Not that I'm aware of, we did use the product for multiple items, but it was not a difficult task.
Support is excellent, such a huge knowledge base, they answer the phone, get back to me, they know their stuff. Very impressed with the support.
