Overall Satisfaction with Litmus
We use Litmus to QA our emails. We use it to make sure our emails look great across devices. I like how many devices it includes. It's very helpful. We also used to use it to check subject line placement within inboxes, but that feature has recently been deprecated, unfortunately.
- Showing emails across devices and email service providers
- Making it easy to send emails into the tool
- Quickly rendering tests
- More devices/ISPs
- Subject line inbox rendering
- Inbox placement prediction
- Improved user experience
- Time saved not needing to manually test emails
- Shorter email review cycles
We have a homegrown email system. It's not integrated with Litmus. I like that I'm able to send my emails to Litmus from our tool, and I get feedback on how my emails look across devices & email providers. We do not need integrations with common third-party ESPs since we do not use them.
We do not use performance metrics from Litmus.
We generally do not use Litmus to review proofs. All of our emails need to be reviewed by legal, and they use JIRA. So we use Google docs to review copy.
However, once the copy is approved and we build the email, we do use a slack integration to send the Litmus test into a shared slack channel with our copywriters and design teams. Any edits are posted in the slack channel, and we make the changes from there. We don't leave comments in Litmus.

At my past companies, I've only used Litmus for this use case.
