Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
Mailchimp is used by my business to bring in possible leads and nurture my current reader base. It helps by allowing me to capture leads through an opt-in on my WordPress website and then send a series of emails that ensure reader loyalty and possible sales. It not only captures leads but helps to continue the relationship.
Pros
- Mailchimp is easily integrated into your WordPress website through a simple plugin. You can add landing pages or simple opt-ins.
- Mailchimp is very intuitive and easy to use for beginners.
Cons
- Mailchimp isn’t so great at juggling multiple lists or multiple opt-ins. It can be confusing and difficult to try and maintain one main list that allows you to easily target certain users based on their behavior.
- Mailchimp makes tagging and groups very confusing and not intuitive.
- We have seen an increase in email subscribers.
- Users are returning to our site due to the email marketing platform.
MailerLite is great in the fact that you can easily segment users based on behavior. This allows you to send email campaigns based on how they interacted with your site, whether they made a purchase, opted in through a freebie, or anything else. This is great as it allows you to easily send campaigns that you know the user will find appealing.
I have been about to utilize both the easily created opt-ins and landing pages which has saved us money and time.
I have had success using the landing pages and opt-in forms.
