Overall Satisfaction with Mattermost
It supports the communication aspect of project management. The collaboration of the teams and management is the most important in an organization and it's best in cases of multiple teams and bigger projects because it helps in WBS.

Because of its self-hosted feature, I was able to change some styling to fit my needs, it's secure with this on my server on my domain. It lets me white-label it for my company so I can have a bit more trust from my clients and communication is made easier I didn't touch its functionality though as it is a golden rule of programming, if something works, don't touch it LOL...
It's cheaper and similar to Slack.
You can break down your project modules better here.
It's secure and self-hosted.
It has multi-platform support and can be used in desktop and phone.
It can have multiple plugins like zoom, GitHub and jira so it is a problem solver in many other areas too.
