Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As a collaborative tool in virtual meetings to develop proactive inspections project. It allows people to work together virtually for people based in various locations in government offices throughout the Kootenays. Great visual help for presentations and collaboration between staff members. Using available templates and creating my own templates to help the team develop our new product. I am a newly Certified Scrum Master teaching the team the Scrum framework to achieve our objectives.
  • Incorporates PPT Presentation
  • Great for collaboration with stickies and text and icons
  • Timer and voting
  • Loading documents
  • Saving presentation and collaborative work as PDF
  • Tends to freeze at times and impossible to work
  • Automatic charges my credit card when someone signs in as guest
  • Sign in can be difficult for guest to avoid getting charged as a new team member
  • Reduced travelling costs and time
  • Improved productivity
  • Improved collaboration
It can take several weeks to master Miro as a presenter and a participant. It was difficult to figure out to set the virtual meetings with Microsoft Teams. It took a while for me to figure out how to incorporate with ZOOM to find out that our government only had the free version which cuts out after 40 minutes and doesn’t allow for a meeting longer than 30 minutes. I finally managed to incorporate Miro into TEAMS after getting help from a co-worker in another region of the province
Difficulties integrating with Zoom and Microsoft Teams. No Miro videos were found to incorporate Miro in Microsoft Teams.
Excellent except for difficulties signing in as guests vs members and causing unexpected charges to the credit card associated to the account

Best suited for collaboration with stickies text slides icons images videos spreadsheets. Tables are a bit tricky to build. It can be difficult to group and ungroup and lock some objects and copy slides from one board to another board. Sometimes Miro freezes and takes a long time to load making it impossible to work with Miro at times
