Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Our UX teams use Miro for visualizations, brainstorming/ideation, workshopping, compiling design assets and research materials.
Miro's digital platform addresses the gap when collaborating remotely. Historically, it was difficult to collaborate digitally. But now it's a game-changer! Since our teams are mostly remote, it's a great way to do collaborative activities.

Pros
- Real-time/Live team collaboration
- Asynchronous team collaboration
- A visual tool to compile a variety of data/files
Cons
- More templates for creative design-related activities (ideation, etc.)
- Missing functionality: a way to click/tap to create a SERIES of sticky notes or shapes. Currently, we have to drag a sticky out manually, or duplicate an existing sticky/shape. Bulk stickies don't solve for this because it shows as a list format, rather than showing the stickies on the board visually.
- More AI-powered functionalities (writing support, predicting what user wants to do next based on context)
- Improved productivity (less time spent on figuring out what tools to use)
- Less time spent on sending files/documents back and forth, now that the link is easily shareable and anyone can access and make edits whenever is suitable to them.
It has been a game-changer in the way we collaborate remotely and even in-person. In a remote context, it enables our team now to collaborate smoothly with people across geographic locations and timezones. Our team uses Miro even during in-person meetings when we're doing retrospectives or workshops for project and research planning.
- Mural and Microsoft Teams
Miro is way more intuitive. Whereas with other tools, there is a learning curve for how to interact with the tools.
