Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
Moving my team to monday.com was the best organizational decision we've ever made! We tried a number of other ways to keep track of current and upcoming projects, but it always felt as though something was falling through the cracks. Since moving to monday.com and getting the team to buy-in, it has made a world of difference! As a manager, I like that I can see which projects are in progress and which are completed, without having to ask for updates and appear to be micromanaging - nobody wants that! We're excited to dive into more features as we continue to grow!
Pros
- The "My Work" tab is my BIBLE at the office. I love being able to mark things as done and watch them disappear. Very cathartic.
- We've implemented a process within the company using the FORMS feature, where the information provided is automatically added as a task on the appropriate person's list - with a due date and all!
- The automations are incredible! I love that it interfaces with my Outlook calendar. I recently saw it is also compatible with Jotform and will certainly be exploring that as well!
Cons
- I find things mostly intuitive now, but there was certainly a learning curve at the beginning. I wish there was a more in-your-face short training or introductory video that I could have shared with my team before jumping in. There was a lot of trial and error.
- More templates! I love the social media planner template, but wish there were additional options to choose from.
- I wish that there was a way to add tasks assigned to the team to appear on my "My Work" page, without adding individual's tasks as well.
- LOVE being able to combine boards into calendars when necessary and appropriate
- Communication is a breeze - no more emails getting lost in the inbox shuffle
- Less time planning and more time doing!
We are completely satisfied with monday.com. We have sampled other products and nothing has come close to the features and functionality. We are additionally happy with the price point. We are actively advocating to expand its use beyond just our team and are hopeful other teams, departments, and franchises will join us soon!
