Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We primarily use this as a PPM tool to manage and track our portfolio of projects. It provides a single pane of glass in which to see information for all initiatives as well supporting the intake and demand process for upcoming projects. Dashboards support our governance meetings and also provide custom views for different stakeholders.

It was extremely easy to migrate across from another platform and the learning curve wasn’t steep. Lots of training resources too. Live dashboards that update straight away when changing filters and settings is easy to tweak. Integrations are also easy to setup and manage at scale. Workflow builder was really intuitive to use.
CSM was always helpful and easy to get hold of and always provided good feedback and suggestions. Information and solutions they provided was helpful and they signed us up for early testing of new features. They provided free tickets for Elevate which was really interesting and provided many ideas of new ways of working we could utilise.
Performance has been generally good with no outages or downtime in the service. Speed is something that could be improved upon, some larger dashboards and portfolio views can be a little sluggish but the content is great and the fact it is live data is a big plus, also the ease of duplicating dashboards and setting overall filters at a dashboard level was a game changer.
Cost is a big factor as the alternatives stacked up poorly in user costs and built in features. Also, the business was already using a different facet of monday.com so it was a quick setup and we already had experience and people were Jo knew the platform. Less complex and also had a much better UI.

For organisations setting up a brand new PMO and trying to make sense of an existing but convoluted set of projects and work already in progress. Also good for setting up of resourcing and vendor management boards with multiple entry points e.g. direct in boards or via forms. Perfect for startups because it covers all areas of work management with other products under the monday.com banner.
