Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We use monday to manage both the project delivery side and the CRM side — handling new leads and opportunities — as well as the service ticketing system for one of our own apps. As a company that started small and gradually grew, we had to structure many processes along the way, and monday, with its scalability, has helped us create workflows tailored to the needs of each growing team. Today, meetings are very few because everyone is up to date and has the ability to monitor capacity, progress, and task assignments.

Pros

  • Tracking activities and progresses
  • workload management
  • pipeline and leads management

Cons

  • The platform should be more reliable and reduce downtime
  • Automations on formulas
  • AI capabilities such as extract information from a document
  • Time savings
  • less time spend on meetings
  • numbers driven decisions
It’s a very user-friendly product that adapts to a wide variety of workflows, easy to set up and use. At times, however, it becomes complex and experiences loading delays when handling large amounts of data, which can make it challenging to quickly access certain information
The support provided by the Customer Success Managers is excellent. However, when it comes to contacting support directly through the bot, it’s often difficult to get quick responses from a real human, and it can be challenging to make the bot understand when referring to very specific features.
Regarding features, the overall experience is positive. However, sometimes you might expect a feature to be fully released, but that’s not always the case, as it may still be in beta — for example, data extraction from files or documents doesn’t always work as it should. This can lead to revising workflows from how they were initially planned and result in lost time. As for uptime, in recent months it has caused issues, occurring more frequently than expected and creating interruptions in management, since most of our workflows run directly on monday.
monday is more capable and comprehensive when it comes to project and task management as well as the CRM side. However, Odoo is better suited for managing other areas that monday doesn’t cover, such as employee management, payroll, and invoicing. If one were to prioritize cost savings over functionality, Odoo could provide everything within a single tool.

Do you think monday.com delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with monday.com's feature set?

Yes

Did monday.com live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of monday.com go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy monday.com again?

Yes

For resource management, projects, CRM, and pipeline tracking, it’s definitely well-suited for SMBs. However, it starts to become difficult to manage — especially on the CRM side — as numbers grow for large enterprise users, due to system limitations. For example limited lead amount per board and/or limited projects connected to one dashboard.
