Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP

We use NetSuite ERP in our organization for a number of things, including raising purchase orders and invoices, which integrates fully with our Power BI tracking, all of the timesheets completed at manager level and above and also expense reports. It is used company-wide at our global organisation by all teams, allowing us to automate and speed up financial processes, and give everyone visibility of activity accordingly. We set up all our new suppliers and contractors on NetSuite ERP so also keep track of them within this useful system.

Pros

  • Purchase Order raising
  • Creating new suppliers
  • Managing time sheets

Cons

  • Viewing historical purchase orders (past last 5)
  • Easier way to copy across past week time sheets
  • More accessible user interface
  • More natural filtering of past purchases
  • Quite a long timesheet process - slightly negative impact on time as can't always copy past weeks
  • Useful ability to copy past purchase orders to speed up procurement process
Usability overall of Netsuite ERP is quite good, it is one of those interfaces that you get used to and therefore know where things are, or get used to putting things through in a certain way, however I am pretty sure there is a lot of hidden functionalities I am not aware of. The overall look and feel isn't very modern - you get the idea that a lot of things have been created but not ever re-reviewed. Fonts are small, lots of text everywhere etc. Not the most navigable. Some features don't ever seem to work properly i.e. copying of past months of timesheets or filtering back through older purchase requests to find information on previous purchase orders raised and their procurement process status - to get this information I have to view through an integration with Power BI. This may be my own companies' set up, but when I try to use the filters on NetSuite ERP it's pretty hard and doesn't ever seem to work.
I was not the selector of the vendor for NetSuite ERP, and it is now the interface I am most used to. I would recommend SAP and their full suite of products, currently only using Concur, as I think it has a slightly cleaner and less cluttered interface, however I do not know if it has all the many features that we use in NetSuite ERP as a global organisation of many individuals.

Do you think NetSuite ERP delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with NetSuite ERP's feature set?

Yes

Did NetSuite ERP live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of NetSuite ERP go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy NetSuite ERP again?

Yes

Slack, Salesforce Lightning Platform, monday.com, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Powerpoint Online, Google Ad Manager, Miro, ProdPad, Asana, Trello, Wagtail, Wrike, Smartsheet, Microsoft Power BI, Greenhouse, Palo Alto Networks AutoFocus, Canva, Templafy, Gong, trumpet
Netsuite ERP is well suited to helping facilitate a smooth procurement process, raising purchase orders and managing invoices. We use it to set up new suppliers and for global organisations with multiple cost centres, suppliers, agencies, activities etc. it is very good at managing a high volume of different suppliers and activities. It has a relatively navigable interface but could stand to be a bit more simple / modern and automated. It is quite aggressively busy on screen vs some other simplified interfaces.
