Overall Satisfaction with New Relic

We use New Relic daily to help monitor our software services across many environments and regions. New Relic gives us a responsive and easy-to-manage view of our data in useful dashboards. This allows us to quickly understand what is going on with our software and to understand when a problem may arise. Alerting in New Relic is fantastic and extremely customizable as nearly any query can be used. New Relic offers many useful solutions for our business such as monitoring, alerting, distributed tracing, service maps, and the list goes on. I would highly recommend New Relic to anyone looking for visibility on their software stack.

Real-time monitoring, such as what is provided by New Relic allows our team to have visibility at all times and to react quickly when problems arise. In a company that is international with services in 10+ regions and various environments, it would be impossible to monitor everything without software. New Relic provides us with this monitoring and has proven to be extremely reliable for us.
The department of the company that I work in has always been cloud so there has been no migration for us but it has definitely helped to reduce costs when you talk about business costs and brand trust. New Relic gives us visibility and responsiveness so that we can respond to incidents quickly and before problems escalate into greater problems.
We consistently, and constantly use New Relic dashboards for monitoring within our company. These dashboards are configured in all sorts of departments from product management to DevOps to software engineers and they give us the flexibility to materialize our data in ways that make sense. Performance monitoring, and alerting are also a big part of our work and we have been able to trust that New Relic is there for us when we need it most.
New Relic feels like the gold-plated version of many of the other monitoring tools. It has such a wide array of features, and falls into the category of extremely reliable, making it a solid choice. One pitfall of many tools that are swiss army knives is that they usually are not great at everything. With New Relic that argument falls dead. New Relic seems to do everything very well and the ease of it all being in one platform makes for smooth sailing.
