Overall Satisfaction with Outreach
The sales and market development teams use Outreach. It allows these teams to be more strategic with their prospecting and operational workflows. It holds AEs and MDRs accountable for the strategic approach implemented by our institution.
Pros
- A/B Testing. Our previous tool didn't allow for that.
- Managing handoffs from Market Dev to sales. Outreach allows for a smooth handoff.
- Clean UI, other tools we used in the past had similar features but were not designed in a usable fashion. It is clear Outreach cares about UX.
Cons
- Reporting is the biggest need for improvement. Data is power and I would like to have more insight into how each campaign is going. More data on teams, tags, etc.
- Sometimes Outreach gets unsynced from Gmail. It seems to happen less now but for a while there it was a friction point for our Org.
- Have a more seemless way of adding content assets. Sometimes snippets are hard to use. It turns collateral to attachments frequently rather than embedding it in an email.
We pull dashboards on top users, most effective campaigns, top teams, and then on the other spectrum lowest performing users, campaigns and teams and use those as opportunities to coach and develop. I would say reports is something that should definitely be developed further. There have been a few times where I have wanted to pull information and had to export the data and run it into a BI tool. Not ideal.
- More qualified opportunities.
- Streamlined our employees' workflow. Giving them more time to spend with clients and less likely to experience burn out.
- More insight for managers to develop their staff.
Our CSMs are great! They definitely give us great attention and have interest in our success using the tool. I would say this is a differentiator as well. With previous tools we use we didn't have the response or attention necessary to have a pleasant experience using their platform. Outreach have great CSMs and great documentation leading to increased adoption.
We have used ToutApp in the past. At the time it did not have any A/B testing functionality and the UX was less than ideal. We chose Outreach because it had A/B testing functionality and a better UI. We also like it since it has integrations with both Gmail and Salesforce. We would not have bought Outreach if it didn't have these two integrations.
