Paycom is good for Payroll only
Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
We use Paycom for payroll and benefit management, including time off requests and accruals. We had intended to use the talent/performance management but chose not to after a short period of time.
Pros
- Paycom's strengths lie in payroll management.
Cons
- Suggested room for improvement: implementation and training was very weak. Promises were made that were not kept.
- The system is not user friendly, seems very old and needs a makeover. Custom reports are very difficult to run.
- We presented the talent management system to management and they were shocked at how difficult the system is to manipulate. We will not be moving forward with that.
- The Talent Acquisition is very weak and simple.
- Paycom developed a good payroll system but the other aspects of their package are not up to par.
- We do not get the information we need in a timely manner. Reports are much more difficult to create.
ADP has similar problems. Implementation was extremely weak. Another good payroll package that tried to be more than payroll.
