Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
We use Paycom for payroll, time tracking, performance, engagement, and training.
Pros
- Paycom has incredible service. If we ever have an issue, which is rare, they respond quickly and helpfully.
- The platform is extremely user friendly
- Nearly everything is extremely customizable. For example, we were able to make a performance program that is very specific for our org.
- It makes payroll super fast! I went from spending two days on payroll to 2 hours.
Cons
- Certain features can be overwhelming because they are SO customizable. A default or simple option might be nice for some features.
- Paycom is very efficient and saves time for all of our leaders
- It's employee focused, so our employees have to make their own changes to their profiles. This has freed up our management team even more to focus of "big picture" things, and Paycom even has a feature to show how much payroll we've "saved" but not having to help our employees with these items.
- It's improved our performance management system to be much more effective and streamlined.
With our previous provider, I had to hand-key in most timecards. Payroll took me nearly 16 hours. With Paycom, it takes maybe 2 hours. Not only is it better at tracking time, but I can upload data sheets easily and no longer need to hand-key info.
It has truly made everything more efficient. One area that has been very helpful is automating surveys and reviews. Things don't get missed or delayed anymore!
We can use this to look up information quickly rather than having to click around to the right report for it. It's especially helpful for quick questions, if I'm in a meeting I can quickly ask something and have an answer in the moment rather than pulling all the data.
Paycom is faster, more efficient, and more proactive. Paycom is more hands on, I appreciate that I have a customer service rep for day to day questions, and we have a rep who checks in quarterly to ensure we are getting the most from the system. They never feel pushy and are always helpful, no matter how big or small the question is.
