Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

We use Paycom as our employee record management system, using it to process payroll and to collect employee documents during the onboarding process.
  • Robust back end system and reporting.
  • Easy to create and use checklists to make sure the correct paperwork and information are collected from employees.
  • The software itself is not visually appealing or intuitive.
  • Limitations with APIs and sharing information to and from Paycom.
  • Paycom has helped us become more complaint in collecting all necessary employee documents to effectively credential employees.
  • Effectively manages time, records time off and processes payroll.
We used multiple versions of ADP over the years and each was awful to use. Paycom's customer support was so much better than that of ADP and that was a huge selling point. ADPs customer service was awful! You were routed to India every time you had a question and no-one could solve your problem. At Paycom you have a dedicated support team who is easy to get a hold of.
Much better than ADP, and you can email or call which is nice as well.

It is a great payroll system and tool to collect paperwork and onboard employees, but it is just not visually appealing or user-friendly. We are also running into trouble connecting Paycom to other software via API which is frustrating and will probably be the reason we leave Paycom.
