Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

Paycom handles our payroll and benefits needs and is also a recruiting tool. We track time via timecards and enroll in benefits through Paycom.

Pros

  • Timekeeping through the timecard.
  • Keeping track of employee's PTO accruals and usage.
  • Reports are user friendly and easy to use.

Cons

  • Calling in issues sometimes takes a little while, and we have to ensure we have the right person to help us.
  • The time it takes for employees to use time tracking is great. It saves the employees time because they can clock in and out from their phones.
  • Tax reporting in Paycom is also great. We find few to no issues, which saves us time and money during the reconciliation process.
  • The payroll process in Paycom also works well. We split duties on the timecards and then make any one-off payroll adjustments that need to be made. This works well for us as a team.
I was not involved in the implementation process.
The report writing is the best out there. It is very easy to use and produces the reports needed. The canned reports work well, too. The PTO usage and accruals are always accurate and work well with the system.

Paycom is well suited for PTO accrual and usage. The function is easy to use. Employees don't have issues requesting time off and changing requests if need be. When a time off request is added, emails are sent to management. This allows managers to know they have items to approve or review.
